Born Dec. 1, 1970 in Bloomington, he was the son of Susan K. (Spice) Thimlar.
He was a sales representative for Sunbelt Rentals in Indianapolis and had previously worked at Grindstone Charlies in Indianapolis. He was a 1990 graduate of Ben Davis High School, attended Vincennes University and was an avid sports fan and a member of the Moose Lodge in Indianapolis.
Survivors include: his mother Susan K. (Spice) Thimlar of Linton; his biological father Robert Mitchell of Linton; a sister Mandy A. Moore of Linton, his paternal grandmother Hazel Mitchell of Linton; a nephew Cody T. Moore of Linton; a great-uncle John Spice of Linton; an uncle and aunt Brad and Susan Spice of Terre Haute; cousins, Andrew Thimlar, Jarrod and Will Spice, and Gwen Pearman; and many other cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service was conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Monday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. Mike Roth officiating.
Friends called at 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
