Thelma Ruth Morrison, 81, of Linton and formerly of Cass, passed away at 3:40 a.m. today, Feb. 1, 2005 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born Aug. 29, 1923 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of John and Myrtle (Archer) Mollett.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera.

Survivors include: Titus Jr. Morrison of Lonetree Community; Clyde Morrison of Rockport; four daughters, Dixie Kirk of Versailles, Mary Moore of Oaktown, Nancy Clark of Cass, and Brenda Morrison of Switz City; one sister Loena Browning of LaPorte; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Titus Morrison, who passed away in 1999; two sisters, Letha Chambers and one who died in infancy; four brothers, Ray, John, Clifford, and James Mollett.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday at Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera with the Rev. James Quick officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carlisle.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
