Donald Walters Sr., 76, of Worthington, passed away at 11:19 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Bloomington.

Born April 12, 1928 in Morgan County, he was the son of Warden and Blanch (Payton) Walters. On December 6, 1960, he married Ida Irene Walters.

He was a plumber and a member of American Legion Post #22, and VFW of Martinsville.

Survivors include: his wife Ida Irene Walters of Worthington, a daughter Dia Anderson-Serach of Worthington; a son Donald Walters Jr. of Bedford; five grandchildren, Kelsey and Richard Anderson, and Megan, Ashley and Christopher Bunch; three sisters, Sarah Moore of Florida, Edith Rose of Martinsville, and Frances Jane Walters of N.C.; and one brother Jim Walters of Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services and no visitation.
