FREEDOM - Coy Thompson, 78, of Freedom, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005, at the Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born September 24, 1926 in Freedom, he was the son of Lex and Ivadale "Tootie" (Hickam) Thompson. He was married to Martha Lou (Walters Rednour) Thompson.

He worked for T K Trucking and was a member of Freedom Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his wife Martha Lou Thompson of Freedom; a son Gary Edward "Sam" Thompson of Indianapolis; a brother Sonny Thompson of Worthington; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son John Robert Thompson, and a sister Tootie Fuller.

Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
