Ted Green, Sr., 88, of Swanton, Ohio and formerly of Worthington, passed away Thursday morning, April 21, 2005 at St. Luke Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.

Born June 13, 1916 in Smith Township, Greene County, he was the son of Byron T. and Bula (Taylor) Green.

He operated Ted's Hotel and Junction House Coffee Shop in Worthington and managed several restaurants and hotels in Indiana. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Odd Fellows, American Legion and VFW, all of Worthington.

Survivors include: one son Ted Green, Jr., of Delta, Ohio; four daughters, Virginia Sue Fromholz of Alexandria, Teddy Fatta of Zionsville, Jackie Harmon of Carmi, Ill., and Patricia Green of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

There will be a military graveside service at Worthington Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
