BLOOMINGTON ---- Pearl May Geddes, 98, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Hospitality House in Bloomington.

Born Oct. 12, 1906 near Doans in Taylor Township, Greene County, she was the daughter of David and Sarah E. (Sadie) Geddes.

She retired from the Food Services Division of Indiana University where she had worked for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Bloomington Baptist Church, a Past Worthy Matron of the Stanford Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and an avid member of the D.A.R. She had established relationships to several members of the Continental Army.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Rollie, Samuel, and Earl, and two sisters, Mina and Minnie.

Graveside service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Scotland Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the National Diabetes Association.

Allen Funeral Home of Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
