MERIDIAN, MISS. - Rebecca E. Spencer, 91, of Meridian, Miss., and formerly of Switz City and Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005.

Born May 23, 1913 in Meridian, Ms., she was the daughter of Robert and Irene Ross.

She was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority and an active member of the Methodist Church in Bloomfield.

Survivors include: her husband of 62 years Robert C. Spencer, a native of Switz City now living in Meridian; a son Ross Spencer of Miami Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Gail and her husband Thomas Wright of Mooresville and Nedra Spencer of Meridian, Miss.; a sister Bobbi Hayes of Eupora, Miss.; two grandchildren, Natalie Cunningham and Thomas R. Wright; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Webb Funeral Home, Meridian, Miss.
