Roy J. Mason, 56, of Linton, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Lyons Health and Living Center.

Born February 7, 1949 in Linton, he was the son of Roy W. and Berneta (Wright) Mason. On March 16, 1968, he married Joyce A. (Ruminer) Mason.

He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked at the Lyons Health and Living Center in the maintenance department.

Survivors include: his wife Joyce A. Mason of Linton; twin sons, Justin Roy Mason and Dustin W. Mason, both of Linton; a brother Ralph Mason of Linton; a sister Mary Johnson of Vincennes; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Beverly Folsom.

Funeral services will be conducted at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Don Tichenor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Linton.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Military services will be conducted by the American Legion Post 22
