Opal M. Hatton, 95, of Worthington, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005, at the Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born July 29, 1909 in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Samual Earl and Ressie Frances (Hubble) Rettinger.

She was self-employed.

She is survived by a daughter Lorna Adele Hatton Larson of Worthington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor Hugo Hatton, a son Roderick Victor Hatton, and six brothers, Richard Fairel Rettinger, Jesse Voris Rettinger, Francis Earl Rettinger, Chauncy J. Rettinger, Floyd Gene Rettinger, and Lowell Estin Rettinger.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. pm Wednesday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield. There will be no public visitation.

Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
