Barbara Jean (Titus) McKean, 74, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at her residence.

Born June 20, 1930 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Ruth (Vest) Titus.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Linton.

Survivors include: five sons, John Haywood of Bloomfield, Scott McKean of Talkeenta, Alaska, Randy McKean of San Francisco, Calif., Robert McKean of Kendallville, and Timothy McKean of Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Debbie Baldwin of San Antonio, Texas, and Suzan Ort of Sellersburg; two sisters, Nancy Campbell of Bloomfield and Betty Leinart of Summerville, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Haywood and Christopher McKean, and a sister Virginia Sherrard.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with Bishop Joe Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, and one hour prior to service Sunday at the funeral home.
