Bonnie R. Head, 81, of Linton, passed away at 7:36 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born May 9, 1923 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Walter Scott and Nellie B. (Smith) Ellis.

She was a homemaker. She was a past president of Women's Aglow, a member of the Ellis Family Singers and Greene County Gospel Association and a member of Linton Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include: a son Tom Head and his wife Terri of Memphis, Tenn.; a granddaughter Marie Osterberg of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister Dola McKim of Linton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bill and Covert Ellis, and a sister Ann Kirk.

Funeral service wasl be at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel today at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Linton.

Friends called today from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
