Born Nov. 20, 1954 in Sullivan, he was the son of Wayne and Tilly (Marshall) Dudley.
He had worked at Crane NWSC since 1979 as an ammunition inspector. He was a 1972 graduate of Shakamak High School and attended the Lyons Community Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include: his wife Pauline (Elkins) Harroll-Dudley, whom he married Nov. 15, 1996; his mother-in-law Doris Elkins of Center Point; a daughter April Dawn (Dudley) Schofield of Shelburn; four sons, Michael Harroll and Daniel Harroll, both of Linton, and Eli Haldeman and Jeremy Haldeman, both of Linton; a brother Roger Dudley of Jasonville; a sister Linda Arnold of Terre Haute; and two grandchildren Taylor Ray Schofield and Whitney Joann Schofield.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Ray Dudley and Danny Wayne Dudley, a brother Gary Dudley and his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Gary King officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery, north of Dugger.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
