Sharon Ann (Helton) Harper, 55, Route 1, Springville passed away at 1 a.m. on April 29, 2005 at Lyons Health and Living Center.

Born Sept. 6, 1949 in Loogootee, she was the daughter of Oscar and Thelma (Botkin) Helton.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Springville.

Survivors include her husband, Bob M. Harper; three sons, Robert L. Harper, Bedford, William Harper, Springville, and James Harper, Bedford; two sisters, Velma Jean Martindale, Springville and Anita Mae Phegley, Sullivan; four brothers, Lowell Helton, Owensburg, Berchel Helton, Jasonville, Kenneth Helton, Mitchell, and Gary Helton, Shelburn; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brian Harper; two sisters, Irene Helton and Ruby Helton; and one brother, Oscar Helton.

Service was conducted at 11 a.m. today at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Roscoe Godsey officiating. Burial was in Dishman Cemetery at Springville.
