Harry Curtis Weaver, 82, of Linton, passed away at 8:07 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2005 at Sullivan County Community Hospital

Born Feb. 17, 1923 in Linton, he was the son of Adam "Tad" Weaver and Millie Glenn Payne Weaver.

He was a member of the Church of God in Linton and the Samaria Pentecostal Church in Dugger.

Survivors include: two sons, Charles Weaver of Lyons, and Larry Weaver of Linton; a sister Lucille Holder of Spencer; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 64 years, Jessie Alice Weaver, two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with the Rev. Gary Shaw and the Rev. Larry Weaver, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
