Alexis Jo Shelton-Klaiber was stillborn at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of Lori Shelton-Klaiber and John J. Klaiber, Jr. of Dugger.

Survivors include: Grandmother Diana Lewis of Dugger; grandparents Eugene and Diane Shelton of Paxton; grandmother Marie Klaiber of Philadelphia, Pa.; great-grandmother Fern Shelton of Sullivan; a sister Michaela Shelton of Dugger; two half-sisters, Ashley Simmons of Sullivan and Barbara Klaiber of Shelburn; a half-brother Justin Klaiber of Shelburn; aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Bruce Murphy of Dugger, and Brian and Stephanie Shelton of Sullivan; and cousins, Autumn Murphy and Amanda Smith, both of Dugger.

She was preceded in death by her aunt Christina Jo Shelton and her grandfather John Klaiber Sr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Whosoever Will Full Gospel Church in Dugger with Pastor Dan Dyer officiating.

Holmes Memorial Chapel, Sullivan, is in charge of arrangements.
