Dakota T. Goodman, 7, of Lyons, passed away at 8:04 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born Aug. 21, 1997 in Linton, he was the son of Andrew B. Goodman and Christy L. Souders.

He was a student at Linton-Stockton Elementary School.

Survivors include: his father Andrew of Bloomfield; his mother Christy of Lyons; his sister Samantha Goodman at home; maternal grandparents Henry and Melody Souders of Lyons; paternal grandmother Tonya Wonders of Jasonville; maternal great-grandparents, Cecil and Adah Glenn of Linton, and Eva Meurer of Lyons; paternal great-grandmother Ruth Pirtle of Dugger; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Steven Wonders, maternal great-grandfather Henry Souders, step paternal great-grandfather Ron Meurer, and paternal great-grandfather Hessie Pirtle.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel. Burial will be in Switz City Cemetery.
