Gary D. "Doug" Castle, 59, of Jasonville, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born July 15, 1946 in Frankfort, he was the son of Jesse Leroy Castle Sr. and Louise (Downer) Castle.

He was self-employed, working in recycling and salvage.

Survivors include: his companion Rose McBride of Jasonville; two daughters; one son; five sisters, Pat Castle of Frankfort, Joan Castle of Rossville, Linda Castle of Jasonville, Betty Castle of Kokomo, and Joyce Castle of Avon Park, Fla.; three brothers, Bruce Castle of Jasonville, Richard Castle of Frankfort, and Jesse Leroy Castle, Jr., of Linton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery, Howesville.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
