Joseph Eugene Wood, 55, of Sandborn, passed away June 30, 2005 at his residence.

Born March 26, 1950, he was the son of Eugene Brewer and Doris (Grove) Wood. He was married to Suellen (Spalding) Wood.

He was chemist at the Merom Power Plant and a member of IVEW International Union.

Survivors include: his wife, Suellen Wood of Sandborn; children, Chad Heath of Princeton, Jason Wood of Sandborn, Jayne Wood of Sandborn, and Jake Wood of Sandborn; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Suzie Wood of Indianapolis and Kathy Savill of Sandborn; and his mother and step-father Doris and Dennis Normand of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with the Rev. Dennis Normand officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Stafford Township.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and 3 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home in Lyons.
