SANDBORN ---- Charles E. Stegemoller, 89, of Sandborn and formerly of Speedway, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005.

He was a retired lifelong Greene County farmer and a member of the Linton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his wife Dorothy Stegemoller of Sandborn; two sons, John W. Stegemoller of Plainfield, and William K. Harless of Dublin, Ohio; two daughters, Deborah S. Overman of Fishers and Judith A. Williams of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia M. (Chaplin) Stegemoller and a son James A. Stegemoller.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, 106 Shaw Street, Plainfield. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
