BLOOMINGTON ---- Sharon Berniece (McNabb) Hanson, 62, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at her residence.

Born June 17, 1943 in Odon, she was the daughter of John McNabb and Lola Jackson McNabb Callahan.

She retired from Indiana University in June 2003. She was a member of the Bloomington Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband Clifford Eugene Hanson of Bloomington; a daughter Julie B. Baker of Ellettsville; two sons, Bradley J. Hanson of Chicago, Ill., and Bruce A. Hanson of Bloomington; a sister Arvada Onken of Bloomington; and two brothers, C. Dexter McNabb of Vincennes, and Robert McNabb of Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Clovis Callahan.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 Gourley Pike, Bloomington, with the Rev. Mel Nead officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
