A. Maxine McDonald, 76 of Linton, passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 4, 2005 at her residence.

Born in Frankfort on June 11, 1929, she was the daughter of Renos Leroy and Agnes Pauline (Zurfas) Freeman.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: three sons, Terry E. Pletch of Frankfort, Harold "Butch" McDonald of Elberfeld, and Larry Pletch of Linton; three daughters, Patricia Jenkins of Bloomington, Debra Corbin of Linton, and Vicki Henson of Frankfort; a granddaughter whom she reared, Kellie Riggleman of Linton; two sisters, Dora Kelley and Elizabeth Vest of Spencer; 29 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester McDonald on Oct. 18, 1997, a brother, Robert Freeman, and her parents.

Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Greg Orman officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery east of Linton.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5-9 p.m., and from noon until the time of service Sunday.
