Kathleen N. Pierce, 60, of Switz City, passed away at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2005.

Born Nov. 10, 1944 in Linton, she was the daughter of George and Catherine May Koester.

She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church near Linton.

Survivors include: two sons, Mike Gentry of Linton and James Gentry of Aurora; two step-sons, Dean Pierce and Steven Pierce, both of Linton; one step-daughter Jane Passen of Linton; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Pierce and a brother George Koester.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Darren McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
