Born Dec. 21, 1962 in Martinsville, he was the son of Arthur "Toad" and Shirley (Wright) Ball. On Feb. 22, 2002, he married Connie L. Barber.
He was a heavy equipment and construction operator with Red Top Rental in Indianapolis. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton, the Sons of the American Legion Post 22, Loyal Order of Moose 1434, and Union Operating Engineers Local 841.
Survivors include: his parents Arthur and Shirley Ball of Linton; his wife Connie L. Ball of Jasonville; one son Nathan Ball of Linton; one step-son Jeffrey Martin of Greenwood; two step-daughters, Jennifer Martin of Clay City, and Marissa McQueary of Clay City; three brothers, Mickey Ball, Odus Ball, and Ted "TJ" Ball, all of Linton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Terry Ball.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton, with Warren Shake officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lyons.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
