Clifford "Burrhead" McNeely, 69, of Worthington, passed away at 6 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2005, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons.

Born January 6, 1936 in Greene County, he was the son of Leo and Stella (Laubner) McNeely.

He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Sons of the Legion and Men's Auxiliary of the V.F.W. in Worthington.

Survivors include: one son John McNeely; one brother Leo McNeely of Mississippi; three sisters, Myrtle Huddleston of Evansville, Helen Carrell of Worthington, and Melda Stinebaugh of Worthington; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Leon, and Junior, and one sister Rachel Hamilton.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at Worthington Cemetery.
