Janis E. Myers, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away at 3:22 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born March 21, 1926 in Scotland, she was the daughter of Oscar Raymond and Josephine (Odgen) Christenberry. She was married to Robert F. Myers.

She was a homemaker and attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Linton.

Survivors include: her husband Robert of Bloomfield and a daughter Kathy Ann Myers of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service were today at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Dean Hartman and the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial was in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation was Sunday evening and Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
