Kathleen M. Higgins, 90, of Jasonville, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.

Born Aug. 29, 1915 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Walter and Marie (Hannon) Helmig. On April 14, 1938, she married Joseph M. Higgins. He passed away Jan. 28, 1995.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: a daughter Sue H. Kennady of Jasonville; a son Michael J. Higgins of Snellville, Ga.; a sister Martha Macy of Sarasota, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, and a daughter Sharry Shaw.

Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
