Lana Belle Lindsey

CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. ---- Lana Belle Lindsey, 46, of Cripple Creek, Colo., passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005 at her residence.

Born Aug. 30, 1958 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Marion L. and Phyllis (Duffey) Lindsey.

She was a 1976 graduate of Sullivan High School and attended Vincennes University and IUPUI. She was a former employee of Pinkerton Security Service and served briefly with the Marion County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include: her mother Phyllis Lindsey of Sullivan; a brother Kelly Lindsey of Terre Haute; a sister Dolly Lowry of Carlisle; two nieces, Tiffany Brown and Jessica Lowry; and two nephews, Ross and Ryan Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by her father Marion Lindsey, who passed away in 1989.

A private family service is scheduled.

Mountain Memorial of Divide, Colo., is in charge of arrangements.
