Carl L. Boone, 70, of Dugger and formerly of Anderson, passed away at 12:14 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

Born Sept. 10, 1935 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Frank and Pauline Neal Boone. He had been married to Beverly Jean Reynolds Boone, who passed away in 2003.

He was an Army veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 0117 in Pendleton, and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson.

Survivors include: four brothers, Norval Boone of Sullivan, Allan Boone of Anderson, Don Boone of Crawfordsville, and Gary Boone of Linton; and one sister Doris Bedwell of LaPorte.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly Jean, and a brother Lowell Boone.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service today at the funeral home.
