John Aaron Boruff, 30, of Bloomfield, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005 at his residence.

Born Oct. 30, 1974 in Monroe County, he was the son of Steven M. Boruff and Ingrid (Burkett) Fitch.

He was a carpenter and musician.

Survivors include: his mother, Ingrid and her husband, Wayne Fitch of Bloomfield; his father, Steven Boruff and his wife Katrina of Bloomington; one brother Adam Boruff of Bloomington; his maternal grandfather Orlin R. Burkett of Springville; and his girlfriend Amy Rush of Koleen.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maurice and Maribel Boruff, his maternal grandmother Imogene Burkett and a brother Steven Brent Boruff.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Bro. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will follow in Owensburg Cemetery.
