Sue Shafer

Sue Shafer, 61, of Odon, passed away at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005 at Daviess Community Hospital.

Born March 23, 1944 in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Russell Streepy and Martha Bunch. She was married to Leroy Shafer.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Odon Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband Leroy Shafer of Odon; two sons, Terry Shafer and his wife Melanie of Scottsburg and Kelly Shafer and his wife Paige of Scottsburg; two brothers, Richard Streepy of North Vernon and Bill Streepy of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren, Cody, Devin, Destin, and Tristan Shafer, all of Scottsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Melvin Paulis officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Odon.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
