Paul Edgar Britton, 56, of Solsberry, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005 at Hospitality House in Bloomington.

Born Oct. 13, 1948 in Linton, he was the son of Gerald and Velma (Curry) Britton.

He worked for Wetterau Foods in Bloomington and was a member of American Legion Post 196 in Bloomfield, and the AMVETS in Bloomington.

Survivors include: his children, Timothy A. Britton, Valerie A. Byers, and Jason L. Britton, all of Solsberry; grandchildren, Odetta A. Britton, Jerrod L. Britton, Devin Byers, Kyle Byers, Autumn Byers, Audry Britton, and Hunter Britton; his parents Velma and Gerald "Chick" Britton of Solsberry; and two sisters Dixie Moll of Bloomington and Charlene Wagner of Indianapolis.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Solsberry Christian Church with the Rev. Byron Williams officiating. Burial will be in Solsberry Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, and from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
