Horace G. Houghton, 93, of Brownsburg and formerly of Jasonville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005.

He worked as a lineman for 35 years for Cinergy, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Lawton Street Christian Church, a World War II Navy veteran, a 50-year member of Jasonville Masonic Lodge No. 530, Jasonville American Legion and a lifetime member of Jasonville Lions Club.

Survivors include: daughters, Bonnie Reynolds and Carole Chittenden; sisters, Barbara Plants and Gladys Lammey; four grandchildren, April Harvey, Kari MacKenzie, Holly Fantozzi and Cory Johnson; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Houghton.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. A graveside committal will be at 2:30 p.m. at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
