Born Oct. 28, 1925 in St. Anthony, she was the daughter of Michael and Mayme (Greener) Englert. On Oct. 18, 1947, she married Donald G. Weyer.
She was a homemaker and a turkey farmer. She was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include: her husband Donald of Ferdinand; two daughters, Mary Lou and her husband Steve Stewart of Edwardsport, and Carolyn and her husband Bill Christmas Williams of Ferdinand; two brothers, Charles V. Englert of Ferdinand, and Joseph Englert of St. Anthony; a sister Alice and her husband Roman Hentrup of Jasper; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Gerald Weyer, a granddaughter Angela, a brother Hilbert Englert, and a sister Victoria Bachman.
Funeral service will be at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today, and 7-9:30 a.m. on Friday at Becher Funeral Home, Ferdinand. St. Ferdinand Parish will have a prayer service at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
