Born Feb. 8, 1953 in Bloomington, he was the son of Harvey Manuel, Sr. and Mabel Steel Manuel.
He was a retired truck driver, a Vietnam Army veteran, a member of the Whosoeverwill Full Gospel Church in Dugger, and an avid hunter and fisherman, and competed in Compound Archery.
Survivors include: his wife Sherry Manuel of Linton; a son Skylar Manuel at home; a step-son Dustin Banning of Worthington; two daughters, Shala Manual of Oolitic and Louella Manuel of Bloomington; a step-daughter Tone Torres of Lampasas, Texas; five grandsons; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Leslie Manuel, and two half-sisters, Francis and Mary.
A memorial service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Whosoeverwill Full Gospel Church in Dugger with the Rev. Dan Dyer officiating.
