Born Dec. 20, 1933 in Dugger, he was the son of Gerald Moody and Esta Pigg. He was married to Marilyn Kay (Yoho) Moody.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic and attended the Solsberry United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include: his wife Marilyn Kay Moody of Bloomfield; three brothers, Dale Moody and his wife Jenny of Washington, Dean Moody of Payson, Ariz., and Jerry Moody and his wife Edna of Springville; two sons, Rodney E. Moody and Fred Moody and his wife Chris, all of California; step-children, Melanie and her husband Todd McCabe of Springville, Mark Hash and his wife Karen of Solsberry, Mike Hash and his wife Barbara of Solsberry, and Monte Hash of Bloomington; a granddaughter Alexis Moody; nine step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
