Mary Elizabeth Frantz, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006.

Born Nov. 7, 1920 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Ordia and Marie Padgett.

She worked as a secretary for the Indianapolis Police Department and was a member of the Southport United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Dana and Marc Frantz, and her granddaughters, Caitlin and Lainey.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sherman T. Frantz.

A graveside service was Sunday at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Visitation was Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home in Indianapolis.
