In 1974, he moved from Linton to New Port Richey, Fla., and then to Clearwater in 1996.
He was a veteran of World War II. He retired as an Industrial Engineering Technician from the Naval Weapons Support Center, Crane, in June 1972. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Clearwater, the DAV, and the American Legion.
Survivors include: his wife Rachel; two sons, Ronald Ham of Cozumel, Mexico, and Gene Ham of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Toni Bosten of Indianapolis, and Monica Ham of Honolulu, Hawaii; a stepson Thomas Skoug of LaCrosse, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Dyanne Rinke of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sharon Hammes of LaCrosse, Wis.; eight stepgrandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be today at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater, Fla.
