He grew up in Greene County and graduated from Linton-Stockton High School in 1967. He graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo., and was ordained as a minister with the Assembly of God. He traveled as an evangelist and minister throughout the United States and pastored in Florida and Missouri. He was a computer consultant and environmental technician for the state of Colorado.
Survivors include: his wife of 36 years, Nora Duncan; a son Brent Duncan and his wife Susan; two grandchildren, Noah and Hannah; and his mother Blanche Sims of Laguna Hill, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Duncan.
A celebration of life was Sunday at 2 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Co.
