Dorothy M. Leigh, 75, of Dugger, passed away at 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born May 23, 1930 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Mack Stringer and Mae Arney Stringer.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Dugger and had retired from General Electric in Linton.

Survivors include: her husband Charles D. Leigh of Dugger; one son Dan Leigh of Dugger; one daughter Brenda and her husband Eddie Wilkes of Dugger; one sister Vonda Smith of Dugger; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Pam Leigh and a brother Charles Stringer.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Dugger Cemetery with the Rev. John Booker officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
