Born Sept. 22, 1912 in Greene County, he was the son of Phelix Faidherbe and Germaine Mehay Faidherbe. He had been married to Veronica Josephine Burke Faidherbe.
He was a coal miner and had retired from RCA in Bloomington. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sullivan and attended the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville.
Survivors include a daughter Mary Fuzesi of Dugger, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-father Emile Baratier, his wife Veronica, a son Edward Faidherbe, and a sister Madelaine Stassin.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Jasonville. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
