John T. Townsley, 48, of Edmonton, Kentucky, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2006, at his residence.

Born July 25, 1957 in Clark County, he was the son of Olaf A. Townsley and Bessie E. McKinney Townsley.

He was employed at Best Buy in Boling, Ky.

Survivors include: his fiancé Barbara Bauer of Edmonton, Ky.; a daughter Heather Wheatcraft of Port Richey, Fla.; four sisters, Jewel Compton of Nabb, Jane Townsley of Indianapolis, Martha Townsley of Fishers, and Kay Tindall of Greenfield; a brother Neil Townsley of Daleville, Ala.; and a half brother Wayne Davis of Lafayette.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
