Virginia Page, 81, of Dugger, passed away at 2:44 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.

Born July 30, 1921 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of Ora Shoptaw and Edna Williams Shoptaw.

Survivors include: a son Stephen Bedwell and his wife Salvie of Florida; a daughter Madonna Nail of Dugger; a brother Bobby Shoptaw of Bicknell; a sister Lois Conrad of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; six grandchildren, Teresa Provinzano, Kim Dutton and her husband Jim, David Nail and his wife Sheila, Tamara Fulton, Luciminda Bedwell, and Leyson Bedwell; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Richard, George, and Roscoe Shoptaw, and a sister Emma Myers.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Royal Oaks Cemetery near Bruceville with Pastor David Simpson officiating.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
