Luise Alderson, 81, of Linton, passed away at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at the Linton Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born April 18, 1925 in Dallu, Germany, she was the daughter o Jahann "John" and Anna (Haelig) Maurer. She had been married to Robert Alderson.

She had worked at NSWC Crane and at The Freeman Greene County Hospital.

Survivors include: two sisters in Germany; a cousin-in-law Mary Ann Robinson of Linton; a cousin-in-law Mary Alderson of Linton, who helped at the nursing home; and a caregiver Milford Stone of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, two brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday with James Stone officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
