Billie Evans

Billie Evans, 61, of Dugger, passed away at 12:34 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born June 12, 1944 in San Francisco, she was the daughter of Betty Faria.

She was a member of the Bible Way Church in Linton and a private school teacher in El Sobrante, Calif.

Survivors include: her husband Don R. Evans; two sons, Donald Evans, Jr. of Dugger and Ronald Evans of Linton; a brother Vernon Sorensen of California; a sister Glenda Clutts of California, and four grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Bible Way Church in Linton with Pastor Don Evans officiating.

Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger is in charge of arrangements.
