Charlie Martindale, 55, of Bloomington, passed away at 3 a.m. on Sunday, April 30 2006, in Linton.

Born July 14, 1950 in Greene County, he was the son of Samuel Andrew Martindale and Daisy Mae (Fearnot) Martindale.

He worked at GE, retiring after 36 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and AMVETS, both in Bloomington.

Survivors include: his children, Alicia Walls of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shad Eric Martindale of Bloomington, and Amber Yount of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Madeline Walls of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Max Walls of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two sisters, Dova Crowe of Bloomfield, and Lorelei Meadows of Heltonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Donna Jacobs.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield. Burial will be at Sylvania Cemetery, rural Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
