Born June 8, 1924 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Ernest Julian and Sarah Elizabeth (Poff) Julian. On Oct. 19, 1940, he married Carl W. Johnson.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher and was involved in Missions.
Survivors include: her husband of 65 years, Carl, of Jasonville; four daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Jim Davis of Cape Coral, Fla., Mary and Gary DeLong of Terre Haute, Barbara and Bradley West of Coalmont, and Patricia and Todd Greene of Jasonville; one son Donald Johnson; a step-sister Phyllis Maxwell of Texas; a brother Bill Julian of Frankton; ten grandchildren, Daniel, Tony, and Rebecca Johnson, Angela Davis, Ariann Sagrasee, Phillip DeLong, Christina Brown, Matthew West, Tyrel Bennett, Brianna Johnson; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Billy Johnson, two grandsons, Brian Davis and Jeffrey Johnson, and a sister-in-law Ruby Lynch.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. on Monday at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Rev. Bradley West officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Cemetery in Billville.
Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
