Geneva Carter, 88, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at her home with her husband, of 66 years, by her side.

Born Sept. 3, 1917 in Linton, she was the daughter of Robert A. and Eula Elkins.

She graduated from Linton-Stockton High School in 1935.

Survivors include: her husband Charles W. Carter of Bradenton, Fla.; her son Michael Carter of Bradenton, Fla.; and a brother Robert Elkins of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Haskel Elkins and Paul Elkins, and a sister Anna May Elkins.

Covell Cremation and Funeral Center was in charge of arrangements.
