Kathryn Arbutus Greenwood

Kathryn Arbutus Greenwood, 74, of Switz City, passed away at 4 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2006 at her residence.

Born March 12, 1932 in Linton, she was the daughter of Kirby Wakefield and Mary Magdalene (Hensley) Wakefield. On March 18, 1950, she married Robert L. Greenwood

She was a cleaning lady for Credit Thrift and a member of the Linton First Christian Church.

Survivors include: her husband Robert (Bob) Greenwood of Switz City; two sons, John R. Greenwood and his wife Christina of Princeton, and Jeff S. Greenwood and his wife Cathy of Linton; two daughters, Mary Ann Dyer of Linton, and Autumn Z. L. Greenwood of Linton; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister Edna Brown of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Roger Greenwood, three brothers, and four sisters.

Graveside service will be conducted at Fairview Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Thursday with Michael Chapman officiating.

Friends may call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton.
