Donal R. Brannon, 72, of Linton, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2006, at Clarian Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Dec. 14, 1933 in Linton, he was the son of Roy and Maude (Fullom) Brannon.

He retired from RCA after 33 years of service

Survivors include: two sons, Jeffery Brannon of Indianapolis, and Matt Brannon of Mississippi; two sisters, Mary Heaton of Bargarsville, and Emma Vernon of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Homer Brannon and Wayne Brannon.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Welch & Cornet Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
