COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Charla Kay Kelly, 53, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006.

Born Oct. 2, 1952 in Linton, she was the daughter of Charles W. Bennett and Neoma K. (Vowell) Bennett.

She was known to all as Kay. She loved nature, camping, watching beautiful birds and any other of God's creatures.

Survivors include: her husband Roy Kelly of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sons, William Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Anthony Myers and his wife Debi of Calhan, Colo.; a grandson Brandon Myers; a brother William Bennett of Lyons; a sister Mary Ann Mann, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nieces, Chris Bennett of Lyons, and Dena Schwartz of Fort Knox, Ky.; and a nephew Tracy Mann of Jacksonville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her father, her mother and a daughter.

A celebration of life was at Prairie Chapel Cemetery on Friday, May 19, 2006.

Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, Colo., was in charge of arrangements.
